I’m so happy to be back to feeling normal after having my sweet little princess. Plus, Spring is here and I’ve got the fever. BAD. For me, that means shopping for happy, colorful clothes, usually a new haircut, and of course a strong desire to create some new recipes that make me feel clean and energized. Here’s what I made for lunch today. I loved it with a side of veggies in my healthy ranch recipe. Let me know how you like it!
Green Smoothie Recipe: Peanut Butter Banana Hemp Happiness
8 oz coconut water
4 oz water
2 large handfuls baby spinach
1 banana
3 Tbsp hemp hearts
3 Tbsp chia seeds
1 Tbsp all natural peanut butter
optional: honey, stevia or agave to taste
ice to taste
I have noticed that you have used Hemp Hearts in a few recipes. I have looked them up on line and while everything I have found talks about how healthy they are, how they keep you feeling full, etc. Nothing has really talked about exactly what the true health benefits are. Can you help me with that?
