1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Cut butternut squash in half length-wise
  3. Scrape out seeds and discard
  4. Place butternut squash halves on a large baking sheet flesh side up. Place 1 teaspoon grass fed butter or avocado oil in the middle of each squash. Sprinkle with sea salt and pepper to taste OR drizzle with a Tbsp of pure maple syrup and cinnamon to taste. Roast 50 to 60 minutes, until flesh is fork-tender.
